Following the interactive visualization The Known Soldier, JumpStart Georgia is publishing another infographic on Georgia's role in international peacekeeping missions.
Georgia joined NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in 2004 and has been increasing its troops in Afghanistan year by year. Currently Georgia is the #1 non-NATO contributor to the ISAF mission and the most active NATO partner in Afghanistan. NATO will finish ISAF in 2014 and will start a new mission to train and assist the Afghan National Security Forces and the Afghan National Army. Georgia has already declared its willingness to stay in Afghanistan and participate in the new mission.
